This client was a first home buyer who had been looking for several months for an apartment to live in. She wanted something close to the beach and within easy driving distance to work.
Initially we had a broad search area from Randwick to Maroubra. We looked at numerous two-bedroom apartments with and without off-street parking, usually in need of a substantial renovation. She had a strict budget for her first home. In anticipation of interest rates rising and building costs growing to an all-time high, we decided to purchase this large, light filled, one-bedroom with separate study that already has a fully renovated kitchen and bathroom. Its location provides for easy on street parking and is well within her budget.
During the negotiations, my client was largely unavailable during work hours, so I managed her dealings with her solicitor. We worked out a buying strategy that would give our client the best chance of securing the property before the scheduled auction, and made sure we were ready to act.
Our strategy worked perfectly and my client now the proud new owner of this stunning Randwick apartment.
