This client engaged our services after being referred to us as a country family looking for a Sydney bolt hole. After uncovering a number of exciting opportunities prior to Christmas, we actively began a rigorous search once the Christmas/New Year holidays were completed. We inspected approximately 20 properties (8 with the client over 2 Friday’s when they were visiting) until we inspected a property that met all their criteria. We rigorously negotiated with the selling agent and ultimately secured the property. We were advised of this property just before Christmas and at the time the vendor wanted $2.1m however passed in at auction where the reserve was $2.05m and we secured for $1.975m a couple of weeks after the auction was held.
