With a background in accounting and finance and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Queensland, Tessa has a strong practical understanding of financial and real estate markets. Including that of interest rates, derivative contracts and foreign exchange as they apply.
Prior to joining the Rose and Jones team, Tessa worked as an Analyst at a top 4 accounting firm. This gave her rounded experience in investment and corporate financing – assessing macro/micro economics as it impacted on their clients balance sheets and internal/external risks. She also gained an understanding of how psychology impacts business decisions – working directly with financial institutions to improve organisational efficiency and develop risk mitigation strategies for these clients.
Tessa brings strong analytical and transactional expertise to her role at Rose & Jones. She has a deep understanding of the balance of quantitative and qualitative drivers that underpin the purchase of a family home or residential/commercial investment. Plus a genuine talent and love for property that’s clear from the outset.
As with all assets, their rate of growth and future value depends heavily on the initial selection and the price paid when purchased. Tessa is passionate about recognising growth opportunities, driving value for her clients and managing risk through their Real Estate ownership cycle.
