The clients were expats living in Singapore. They visited Sydney to carry out recon and to confirm where they wanted to buy. Based on their brief, we recommended some areas and targeted some properties to inspect in the likely budget that would hopefully meet their requirements and deliver to their budget. A recon turned quickly into due-diligence including analysis, positioning them, devising the purchasing strategy, engaging a lawyer and turning a transaction around in 48 hours to avoid a Monday auction they couldn’t attend. We exchanged on the Friday night at 8pm.
