The clients were downsizers and having sold their family home had a deadline that they needed to purchase by. They wanted to spend more time travelling and visiting family overseas, so wanted a lock up and leave apartment within flat and easy walking distance to shops, cafes, and the beach. After targeting specific agents we identified this apartment with Bethwyn Richards off market. It was exactly what the client wanted and in their preferred location.
The property purchased was the first apartment inspected for the client, however we continued to show other properties so they were comfortable of what their budget could afford them and what this specific apartment could offer them. As it was off market the vendors were not entirely sure if they wanted to sell the apartment, and in an off market situation it can be difficult for the vendors as there is no market feedback aside from us. Through open and honest communication with the selling agent we were able to get the vendor comfortable with transacting off market and secured the apartment for the client.
